    EARLY IN PERSON VOTING HOURS


    Two (2) Weeks of In Person early voting is available to voters for the November 3rd
    election; including weekends beginning October 17, 2020:

    Saturday, October 17th through Friday, October 30, 2020
    Mondays thru Fridays: 8 AM – 4 PM
    Saturdays: 2 PM – 4 PM
    Sundays: 10 AM – 12 PM

    DEADLINES:
    Deadline to register to vote and/or update voter information is
    October 24th 8pm.
    You may Register/Update voter registration online or in the Clerk’s office.
    Deadline to request a ballot by mail is October 28th

    BALLOTS:

    You have multiple options for returning your Vote by mail/Absentee/Early Vote ballot:

    Drop Box: This box is located in the Town Hall lobby during business hours (M-F, 8a – 4p)
    Hand Delivery: You may hand deliver your ballots to the Clerk’s office as we are now open to the public
    USPS: You may also send your ballot back via US Mail

    NOTICE OF ADVANCED DEPOSITING OF EARLY VOTED BALLOTS

    In accordance with the Secretary of State Regulations 47.12 and under the provisions of section 7(k) of Chapter 115 of the Acts of 2020, the Town of Edgartown will be depositing early voted ballots at the Town Hall, in the Clerk’s Office, 70 Main Street at the following session:

    Monday, November 2nd at Noon

    The Clerk’s office is respectfully asking observers planning to attend register with our office by emailing kmederios@edgartown-ma.us in advance. We ask observers to respect all COVID precautions and guidelines.

    In accordance with the Regulations 47.12 and the provisions of section 7(k) of Chapter 115 of the Acts of 2020, no results shall be determined or announced until after the time the polls close on November 3rd. At that time, the results from the advance processed ballots will be added to the Election Day results and posted in a public space (front & back entries of town hall, outside of the Clerk’s office and on the town’s website).

    MISCELLIOUNUS INFORMATION FOR VOTING IN PERSON (ID REQUIREMENTS, COVID PROCEDURES, ETC.):
    ID may be required to verify address at the polls; any form of ID is acceptable as long as it has your physical Edgartown address and your full name.
    Masks are required to enter Town Hall and COVID procedures will be in place at the polls.
    Any items such as hats, shirts, masks, etc. containing any candidate(s) on the ballot may not be worn at the polls. You will be asked to remove such items before entering the polls.
