    Obtaining a Shellfish License: 

    Senior Resident Shellfish Licenses from 2019 have all been renewed. If you have yours from last year, you can use that. If not, please see below. 
     
    All Shellfish Licenses: In Person Shellfish License Sales will be available in the parking lot of Town Hall under the tent on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Please bring exact change or check. Mask required.

    Annual Shellfish licenses run from April 1st to March 31st.

     

Residents must be on the tax rolls or the annual census list. A resident license is $50 for those residents under 60 years of age. They are free to those residents 60 or over.

Non-resident annual licenses are available for $250.

A weekly license is also available for $50. This entitles the purchaser and their family to go out once in a week window and get a limit of shellfish. This license does not apply to scallops.

An annual license is required to fish for scallops during the season.
